“Entertainment Tonight” Discovers Porn Spoofs

Did “Entertainment Tonight” just recently discover porn or something? Last week they profiled Lisa Ann and her starmaking turn in “Who’s Nailin’ Paylin?”, this week they’re on to the girls of “The Dirty Facts of Life.” We’re all for seeing pornstars get prime time attention–but what’s with ET’s newfound love of porn?     Well I don’t know this for certain but if I had to guess I’d say that the Palin piece got a bit of good ratings because of all the media buzz she’s getting so the execs over at ET brilliantly assumed that any porn spoof story would get good ratings, not just those about Palin. I doubt they are right but who knows.

    Anything to whore out ratings. I mean there flogging this housewife who just had triple K breast implants to death. Plus a while ago they did this whole “what a pitiful thing Sasha Grey is” exposé that was pretty pitiful unto itself. ET, The Insider, and that ilk will play both sides of the porn issue to their advantage. It just depends on what moon is in Vergo, I guess. To shock or to titillate: that is the question.
