Porno Director Rates “Zack And Miri Make A Porno”

Sure, “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” looks like a hilarious porny good time–but how accurate is its depiction of the behind the scenes of a low budget porn production? Fleshbot friend and director of “The Bi Apple” Audacia Ray weighs in on the action, which sounds a lot more realistic than we would have expected. Man, we are so excited for this movie.     Anyone else noticed that leading up to the film’s release they’ve begun dropping the “Make A Porno” from television ads and playing down that aspect entirely?

    Some venues are refusing advertising with the word “porno” in it, even though the ads have been approved by the MPAA. The Weinstein Company has provided alternate advertising material for those venues.

    Yeah, lots of TV stations refused to run trailers with the original title. Stupid. It’s not like the title was “Mira gets fucked” or anything.

    Of course, these are the same TV stations that try to sneak cameras into the local strip clubs during sweeps week.
