    I love these stills, love the artfulness of the B&W, plus I think some of its appeal is the unselfconscious quality, there is a sweetness and naughtiness all together, due to the time at which it was created… When I was growing up, in my parents’ porn stash was a hardback book covering the history of porn, full of great B&W pics from silent era flicks up to the early 60′s. I discovered it around 1986-7 and do not know when it was actually published, but it taught me a lot and I often back to it more often than the recent magazines and videos I found!

    @Spyder01: define more erotic? like black and white? It seems like any picture in this gallery could be replicated by todays porn. The fact that porn has branched out and evolved is a credit to society.
