Pretty In Pale Skin: Who Needs A Tan?

We know being tan is supposedly all the rage, and that it’s supposed to make you look fit and fabulous and healthy — but really, we’ve just never been all that into the whole “tanning” thing. For some reason, the girls that really make us go wild have always been the ones who look as though they spent the summer inside, hiding the sun’s harmful rays.     I prefer girls with “natural” skin color or a little tan, not the orange overtan “supermodel” look.

    Pale women are right up there with petite women for me. Hell, if they’re both, I wouldn’t be able to stay away. And Stoya is still one of the most perfect women alive.

    I love how pale Madison Young is, as well, particularly when she’s got rope lines or clothespins pinches — the paleness of her skin makes all marks show up really well.

    We editor types (of the motion picture variety), we don’t think much of tans, so this post is a treasure trove. As always, Stoya rules. However, can I add a pale, personal favorite? The extraordinary Jenni Lee (a.k.a. Stephanie Sadorra), who hasn’t done anything in several months, so I’m starting to worry she’s left the hardcore biz. If so, it was magical while it lasted.

    You would pick the one picture of Justine Joli with a bit of a tan – back in her Swan days. :) As a “natural milk”, I would say that most of these women do not qualify as pale. When you have truely fair skin you can’t tan, period – all I do is burn in the sun. Sasha, Bijou and Adrienne look like they have olive skin to me, even with the photos desaturated. A lot of the photos are pretty unflattering poses too. These are very attractive girls, who is picking these poses? I would also nominate Emily Marilyn and Scar for this list.
