Two At A Time: Girls In Pigtails

Some might see pigtails as an emblem of youth, a girly hairdo that gets abandoned as a woman moves into maturity. But we’re of a different frame of mind: why should such cuteness be wasted on those who are too young to appreciate it? In fact, we’d love to see pigtails come back as a hairstyle for all ages—and we think Fleshbot reader and today’s Fleshbot Requests dedicatee dirtybacon would agree.     I have to choose Shawna Lenee as the only standout. She is the only one, to my way of thinking, who remains otherwise, & even with regard the pigtails, fully adult (not trapped in arrested adolescence). More importantly, she reminds me of the Mormons I knew in the year 2000 — one in particular, Meghan — who did the pigtails or French-braid for going to Sunday Services. Damn, I was pitching tents over that.
