One Life, Take Two: What’s Next?

So what’s a well respected bisexual educator and sex blogger to do when he finds himself caught up in an ugly custody battle with his ex-spouse? Well, try to pay off his legal expenses for one–which is why several of his fellow travellers in the sex blog community are getting together to help the author of “One Life, Take Two” (and long time Fleshbot Sex Blog Roundup contributor) with the Friends of Jefferson Legal Defense Fund. If you’ve enjoyed his work over the years–or simply care about things like free speech and the right to sexual expression–you might want to consider kicking in a few bucks. After all, it could happen to you. (Assuming you’re a polysexual sex blogger caught in an ugly custody battle, that is. Hey, you never know.) I’m finding it difficult to convince myself to give money to a person I don’t know. Just because I like his sex writing, I should donate to his legal fees? Sure, I was a commenter and felt the tingle between my legs while reading his blog, but money? I have trouble even giving to charities. In fact, I think my husband and I only donate to RAINN.

With that said, I hate the fact that someone could lose their kids. I care more about the emotional well-being of children than I do adults. *shrug* Who knows on which side I stand.

Interesting that you included Audacia Ray’s post. Is that an attempt at neutrality?
