The voiceover for the trailer to “Mr. Mari’s Girls” makes Mr. Mari sound like kind of a jerk: with all that violence and rape and murder, he can’t be that much fun to hang around with. So why do the girls engage in clothes-tearing lesbian catfights just to join his harem? Are they (not to mention anyone who would watch this movie) actually, like … turned on by that sort of stuff? It sounds so dirty and evil–and since when is dirty, evil sex a turn-on? Good to know that some things really have changed since 1967 …
