2008_06_09_married.jpgCould you have sex every single day for a year? Or even for 101 straight days? Before you say “Fuck yes!”, remember that there’s one catch–you have to do it with the person you’re married to. (But you can’t write a book about it, because two couples already did that and they’ve both come out at the same time.) What will these crazy sexual adventurers think of next? (nytimes.com)

I am envious of these couples. Do you think anyone would want to read about a marriage which has had zero sex for 15 months? If so, let me know and I’ll tell them all about this very sad fact…

we’ve been married for almost 12 years.

After one of the other ‘only had sex xx times’ I had said something to my wife about it.

She started counting. Last time I looked, we’d have to not have sex for 39 days to catch up to the number of days that have happened so far this year.

That doesn’t count any manual manipulation only nights, or I as I jokingly call it ‘hummer week’ as we do not have sex during her period.

What’s the secret? no clue, works for us.

Oh yeah, and we have a 6 and 4 year old too, so don’t tell me kids make it un-possible.

hmm…what if you’re in a polyamorous marriage and therefore married to multiple people? does that count?

@Brian47: I so feel your pain. In the past couple of months, my husband’s had a handjob while driving and some seriously great deepthroat (because that’s all he’d let me near him to do, a whopping 2 orgasms while I’m in the room) to get him all riled up for some sexy time… nothing! I’ve been masturbating so much now that I’m not teaching. So. Sad. Yeah? We’ve only been married a year but have been together almost 6. *sigh* makes me think my hand/blow job skills are going down hill.

sex every day for 101 days…wow! i was in a relationship (not married) where we had sex several times in a day at times, but not every day. there are too many other things to do in life. but still, i’m envious. one has to be creative to keep it interesting :) lisa

That is good to hear, I certainly know it is feasible, even when kids can keep the parents from having this time together. We do not have kids, but a few other obstacles, then starts resentment, misunderstandings, miscommunication and pretty soon this is where we land at.

Sex with your spouse once (or more often than that) daily, for 100 days is still not cooler than Ozzy Osbourne doing LSD once a day for a year (or so the legend purports).

Now, sex for 100 days, on acid… [head explodes]
