Breaking: Stoya Inspires Crime!

2008_5_19_stoya2.jpgAs tempting as it is to imagine our favorite porn personalities living in the same fortified compound, playing records and batting each other with soft pillows, they do often live far from Porn Valley. Digital Playground’s Stoya returns to the city of Brotherly Love when she’s not shooting that company’s esoteric arthouse fare, and we caught up with her via webcam.

Stoya: People come to our door to sell things.

GP: Like what?

Stoya: When we were moving in, we had a broken sewing machine. Somebody came to the door to sell us another one for $20.

GP: So someone watched you as you moved in, determined your sewing machine was busted, then stole one and sold it to you? I don’t want to put words in your mouth …

Stoya: They probably stole it!

GP: I would steal a sewing machine for you, Stoya. I would steal an election for you.

    Y’know, it’s definitely something when a fuzzy web-cam photo of a girl can generate lively discussion of her looks, instead of a bunch of glossy dolled-up babe-shots. We see glossy babe-shots all the time as consumers of adult media. How refreshing it is to appreciate a cute girl in a casual moment.

    The adult industry (hell, the entire entertainment industry) has their formula:
    Plastic (boobs) + Painted (faces) = Profit

    And at some point they don’t even need real people to do this formula (see computer graphic nude bods in “Beowulf” w/ Angelina Jolie).

    Stoya’s a cute girl that got photographed as herself and not some made-up fantasy. It is a change of pace for tired eyes. Wish there was more of this.

    I think she is super-cute in the web-cam pics. The sex-doll look is fine but I like the casual look. It’s more genuine… and her smile is a winner. Less is more.

    @piggythewonderdog: Definitely. I wish Digital Playground hadn’t turned her into this girl for mainstream consumption by taking away that alternative touch she had. At least it’s a step forward that it’s acceptable to sign on a girl a little more wispy than most other contract star out there. God, her face is radiant.
