Many of us can’t keep a job; sitting here at the tentacle bar of the China Star 2, we wonder how many of these ironically-bandannaed fry cooks will be here next week. But Kylie Ireland has been a porn star since the last century (she won AVN’s Best New Starlet award in 1994) and this weekend she will bump and grind her way into your heart in her very first burlesque show.
“While this is classic old-school bump-and-grind burlesque, I’m still going to end up mostly naked,” Ireland said. “Also, my dance partner (Shelby Jones) is gorgeous, and there are a bunch of other super-hot burlesque chicks on the bill. You’re not going to get that at Spearmint Rhino.”
Hell no. You don’t get away with a $10 admission fee at Spearmint Rhino, either.
Sunday’s “Devil’s Playground” show at downtown L.A.’s Bordello Bar also features Courtney Cruz, Lux LaCroix, Kitten DeVille, and Cinnamon Britches.
Seriously? Cinnamon Britches? I mean, Kylie’s great, but how can you miss an event when someone named Cinnamon Britches is performing? Does she know Strokahontas?
