Do You Yahoo Naked? Not Anymore.

2007_03_27_yahoo.jpgYahoo! has sent a warning to its users with “adult” profiles telling them that they can’t have adult profiles any more and that all “mature content” will be deleted from the site, meaning the end of porn, adult dating, and any other Yahoo group even remotely related to boobies or peen. Frankly, we didn’t even know people still used Yahoo profiles, but we can sympathize with the outrage anyway! (jeffschult.com)

    Yahoo has confirmed on its Groups blog that they are going to be blowing away all the Adult Profile photos on April 9.

    As far as what else they might be doing, their language is painfully vague and self-contradictory. They claim the elimination of Adult Profiles will not affect Adult Groups. At least, it won’t affect them on April 9. ;-)

    Shockingly, Yahoo Adult Groups, as retro as it may seem, is a huge playground.

    It was confirmed late last week this is an elaborate phishing scam. No worries kinksters, your adult profiles and photos are not going to be deleted.
