Tasty Pinups By Thomas Junior

2008_03_18_tjunior.jpgWe’ll never cease to be amazed by the things certain masters of the fine art of pinups can create: who knew that with just a few pastels and some colored pencils and charcoal (not to mention about thirty hours of time), you could have your very own giddy big-boobed naked pinup girl squirting ketchup all over herself? We guess you’d need a fair dose of German artist Thomas Junior’s talent to create something like that too, though we’d still probably just end up with a brightly colored stick figure. Even with twice the amount of time.

    My only problem with this is the ketchup bottle (granted, a squirt bottle, so will boast a different shape from ye olde glass container, on which one must “hit the 57″ to pour) looks like a bottle of Hershey’s Strawberry Syrup. Sure, just as delightful, & more delicious, to imagine on the model, but if one is going to maintain the tomato ketchup motif (“57 varieties”), then the bottle should be done more definitively as a ketchup container.

    The new 57 ketchup bottles are about seven pounds each, and yield an extremely messy situation on your plate, co-star, or defending kitchen battle warrior/pet. This attention to detail is a curse, dear world.
