2007_12_26_cam.jpgStarting on Tuesday, it will be a felony to videotape someone in Illinois without their permission. Not like you should have been doing that anyway, but just a reminder to keep your amateur “film making” on the up and up. (chicagotribune.com)

So let’s say I’m masturbating in WalMart, if they’re recording me without my permission does that mean I could sue them?

  • Jordan Golson

@BLAKELEY: Sadly, no. There are signs near the doors as you enter informing you that you are being filmed. By continuing into the store, you are giving consent to be filmed.

@Jordan Golson: Good thing I have one of those signs on my bedroom door.
