Mainstream Sex Watch: "Tell Me You Love" This?

The media has been agog at the groundbreaking, shocking, hardcore, full-frontal nature of the sex scenes on HBO’s new “boring people fuck too” show, “Tell Me You Love Me.” Since we’ve moved beyond the days of relying on scrambled porn and late night Shannon Tweed movies, we scoffed at the hubbub, but then decided that to be fair, we should check it out ourselves. So for those of you who don’t have premium cable (or have something better to do on Sunday evenings) here’s the hottest (and darkest) scene from last night’s episode. Maybe we’re just jaded porn cynics, but next time we’re going to need to see some pants come off.

    I have to agree with the two comments. I watched the very first episode and there were a couple of scenes better than this.

    all that fuss over a fuck scene that doesn’t show any cock? some people are just too prudish.

    I think the original agogity was over a handjob scene in the first episode where you actually saw the ejaculation. I did not, however, notice anything unusual about an HBO-funded ejaculation over any other except that it seemed to make the dialogue, acting, and plot lines in the rest of the show terrible. Or maybe that was just the actors and writers.

    It’s odd that HBO’s stablemate Showtime is showing ‘racier ‘ stuff than this in Californication, and that scenes in prior HBO shows like Six Feet Under and The Sopranos actually show as much, if not more nudity.
