Speaking of oral fixations, our recent jaunts around teh internets led us to this classic clip of one the great infamous moments of television history—if you consider anything that happened on The Gong Show to be a great moment, that is. Since you probably don’t spend a whole lot of time watching game show reruns, you may have never actually caught the notorious Popsicle Twins, the act that almost single-handedly doomed the Gong to an early cancellation grave. (Well, them and Jamie Farr.) Like many of the things your parents like to warn you about, it’s not nearly as salacious as it’s usually described, but keep in mind this was the late 1970s. American Idol hadn’t been invented yet, so young people sucking on stage just wasn’t as popular as it is today. (What? Too easy?)
